      - Integrated connection to Veale

The program was to replace the existing, insufficient grandstands with new 700 seat capacity grandstands for viewing of collegiate swim competitions. In doing so, also creating a new façade and entryway alongside the existing gymnasium. The second level of this façade contains a new Cardio-Vascular exercise area, which has become one of the most popular on campus. Due to the lack of documentation of the existing conditions, intensive structural analysis and close field work with the general contractor created a successful project that upon its completion appears seamless in the tightly knit campus fabric.
