o Located on the University Circle in Cleveland. o Project Completed in 1984 o Program Includes: - A landmark addition to existing hospital facility - Renovation of portions of the existing hospital o Firm Principal's Scope of services included: - Master Planning - Facility Planning - Design - Programming - Construction Administration The six-story 200,110 square feet addition to the existing hospital structure is a relatively small piece of in-fill architecture tucked neatly between the sprawling deeply fenestrated concrete parking garage and its 10-story blue-green tower. The new entrance portal was designed to look like a piece of sculpture in a setting, rather than the front door of an institution. Through the portal is the lobby, gift shop, chapel and administrative offices on the ground floor. On the upper five levels are surgery rooms, X-ray facilities, a mechanical floor and two floors of patient rooms.
