o 81,000 SF distribution & shipping facility o Completed in 1996 o $3,200,000 facility o Program Includes: - Distribution center for Medical Imaging Equipment - Direct connection to assembly production areas - Designed for future conversion into engineering & office space - Multi-level high lift racks utilized to maximize efficiency of the floor plan - Connection to existing headquarters o Payto Architects Scope of services included: - Master Plan Integration - Project Design - Construction Drawings - Interior Design / Space Planning - Contract Administration The challenge for this project was to create not only a facility, which could accommodate the efficient flow of medical imaging equipment from production to delivery, but also a structure that could easily be converted into future engineering and office space. Through the use of a multi-level, high lift racking system, a relatively small floor plan was maximized to allow for a greater capacity of product warehousing and distribution. Loading docks on the south side of the building allow for immediate access to and from the adjacent highway.
