The project consists of a five-story, 406 space parking structure with retail space on the first floor street front. Located on West 3 rd Street in the Historic Warehouse District, the project would not only provide for much needed parking but also fill one of the many “Missing Teeth” in the area which were created over the years. The proportions and scale of the facades on the streetfront of West 3rd relate to the vernacular of the multi-use former warehouse buildings of the neighborhood. To further integrate with the streetscape, the first floor of the garage accommodates four bays of small scale retail shops. The project was designed, construction documents completed and bids were received prior to being placed on hold. | |||||||||
