The Reinberger Children's Library is a jewel in Kent State University's Library collection. The Reinberger Library houses over 6,000 illustrated children's books as well as multimedia items, puppets, a demonstration school media center and demonstration childrens and young adult areas. The collection was made possible through several large donations and is a core teaching space for the School of Library and Information Science. The scope of this expansion added significant shelf space for the growing collection as well as seating and study space for students and visitors. The library also benefits from the public space renovations completed by Payto Architects as part of the Library Third Floor Renovations for the School of Library and Information Science.
